Locked by device '####' (PID ####)
eazyBackup supports multiple devices backing up to a single bucket within a storage vault simultaneously. To take advantage of data de-duplication all devices under a single login must backup to the same storage bucket. Data across multiple buckets are not de-duplicated.
The error can occur when eazyBackup runs the data retention cleanup routine if other devices are running backup jobs concurrently to the same bucket.
Solution:

- If you use eazyBackup with the same login on multiple devices, change the schedule on each device to be at least one hour apart
- Run a retention pass on the storage vault – right click on the eazyBackup Storage Vault -> Advanced -> Apply retention rules now
- Alternatively you can request a new bucket on each device.

- Select on the ‘Account’ tab -> +Add Storage Vault -> Select eazybackup, click OK
- Select on the ‘Account’ tab -> +Add Storage Vault -> Select eazybackup, click OK

- You can rename the new vault, right click on the vault, select Edit

- Change your backup schedule to use the new Vault

- In the ‘Storage Vault’ menu select the new Vault you just created, click save.
